I have been a CNA for 14 years, I went back to college so I could better for myself. So I put myself through college working as a private adult sitter and took care of my dad, now I have my Associates degree in Health Administration. I'm having trouble getting my foot in the door. I would like to work as an Activity Coordinator because I love people that I can be ancients too. As Activity Coordinator, that would get me started into the field that I regularly for as Health Administration. I love working with elderly people and working with my hand and crating things for the elderly to have fun and enjoy.

Hey everyone,
So i am a hard working girl, I have been doing supervisor/operations work, and work my ass off at every job I have. I have great references from all my bosses, and other higher ups that I've worked with in my last few jobs. I am now trying to move into a different type of occupation other than working in the SUD/mental health field, I need a mental break from doing this type of work.. as it can be emotionally draining, and I also want to just find what I would really like to do more of as a career. I thought working in treatment would be my career goals, but I would like to work in a different medical/ clerical or administrative work. I have a good resume and have been applying for jobs like crazy on indeed and ziprecruiter, but I have had the worst luck. I keep getting these bs interviews and calls for interviews, or emails.... and these places don't even explain what the job really entails... and when I ask which position it is for, they always say costumer service, which really means sales of some sort... like door to door, or cold calling, and usually some type of pyramid scheme.
I have been working in administrative/office and operational work for years, I have a strong skill set, and honestly I think it's so crappy that I get a bunch of bogus interviews.... It is so hard trying to move into a different type of line of work after working in treatment the last few years, I have had to work at temp jobs, and take major pay cuts.... and I am scared to apply to jobs online these days, because they all feel fake or like a scam to get my information. Anyway, I am done ranting.... just a frustrated human trying to get a job I deserve.

I'm looking for part-time work from home jobs in data entry or customer service. Has anyone ever seen any postings for Amazon? Thanks

Last week I applied for a part time receptionist position at a retirement community in South Florida off Indeed. I then reapplied last weekend with additional details. Then around Tuesday I contacted HR at the home office and left a voicemail. Got no response. Then Wednesday I left a voicemail with the local office, same thing. I have not received a call or Email for an interview. What steps if any should I take?

Hi, i was wrongfully terminated at my previous employment after being lied to and told everything was ok. Inwent on vacation to treat a medical condition and was told not to return.
Does anyone know of any employment opportunities with administrative duties. Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone on here has an opportunity for me. I recently graduated with a degree in business marketing and have not had any luck. I would appreciate if anyone on here knows or has an opportunity for an entry level marketing position (or it can be an administrative role) within the NJ and NY area. I appreciate all the help!!

I have interviews three jobs in the past two weeks. I called to check on my application. Personnel told me the department would contact me and to call them. I called the department and she told me contact personnel. I checked my mailbox and the woman from the department sent me a letter, dated the day of my interview saying I was not chosen. I have 5 degrees and administrative experience and skills. What else do they want?
-disappointed
