Sharing some great advice from a conversation I had with a lady named Kristen on how she got her admin job at 67 and how she would advise someone else in her position: "I would recommend that she network, network, network. Has she had her resume reviewed to help her gain attention in the sea of applicants? What does her profile look like on the job websites? Does she have recommendations on her LinkedIn profile? I am 67 and two years ago was applying for jobs. I made sure my skills were up to date, joined local networking groups, revised my “elevator” speech and signed up with multiple employment agencies. I ended up getting hired at a job I had applied to 8 weeks earlier. You have to believe in yourself, your skills and not stop. Hit the ground every morning as if you are going to work"
