I have applied for a couple of positions that was advertised as being opened. However, I have yet to be contacted. Does anyone know of a person I can follow-up with to see if the position has been filled or has my resume been received or being looked at. I just need a HR or Hiring Manager's contact info.

Nowadays you have to get through online filters before you're even seen by human eyes. How do you stand out to potential employers once you reach their inbox which is overcrowded with hundreds of applicants? What do I need to do to make myself more visible then my competition?

We’re working on it and will have it back up soon. Thank you for your patience – the USAJOBS team. " things still have not changed. can anyone help me? thank you, joanna

I prefer to work at home. I am so sick and tired of being looked over. I have a lot of customer service experience however most of the jobs I've worked with the most customer service experience goes a few years back and a few of the companies have gone out of business. I'm sick of being told that my application is being reviewed and the next day they tell me that even though my resume is strong, there are other applicants that are more qualified and they will not be moving my application forward. This does not mean I can't do the job. I feel like I've been tried and convicted without being given a fair chance. I am desperate now because I am a diabetic and the diabetes has damaged my kidneys. Some of these interviewers are a little rude and don't seem to have compassion and remember when they were in the same shoes I'm wearing now. I have to have someway to pay for my medicines. I don't have any family members here in the state where I live that could help me. I have a lot of customer service experience but if no one gives me the chance how would they know if I can do the job or not? I don't think this is fair either. If there are any employers out there that's reading this, I'm asking that you would be kind and reach out to me. All I'm asking is that you give me a chance to prove myself worthy. I need to also ask, if anyone knows of any temp to perm agencies that hire work from home agents in the state of Florida?

At first glance of the job posting on indeed, it sounded perfect. Of course, not wanting to miss out, I hit "apply with your indeed resume" before really researching the company.... After I did research, I was not happy. It is ran by two less than professional ladies. Seriously, who uses drunken selfies on their website... which was very vague about what they actually do. Two big red flags! Then I hop onto their social media. Oh dear. It's ran by robots. Horrible. You're in marketing for crying out loud! Robots were answering questions with phrases like "That is great! " "Oh, that sounds yummy"... They also answered their bad reviews the same way. After all that and additional digging that left me less than thrilled, I received a voice mail, email and a text from their recruiter. No biggie, right. Well, 10 days, 12 texts, 5 emails later I'm pretty upset I'm being spam- botted by what seemed to be a great job posting. Is this mass text spam-botting the new thing?
