I've been saying it in response to job-seekers asking about it at this site and now here is the proof from an article I read this morning showing how age-discrimination DOES exist even though it is " supposedly " illegal. Here is the link to the article: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/age-discrimination-is-alive-and-well/?ftag=CNM-00-10aac3a

Here's an article I read this morning about the RIDICULOUS cost-of-living in San Francisco and the Tech workers who are making very high salaries but are struggling!!! Thank GOD I don't live there and the reason I had to move out of my hometown - NYC - is for a similar reason - HIGH rents and jobs in my industry NO longer paying a living wage. Here is the link to the article: http://www.cnbc.com/2017/03/03/facebook-engineers-struggling-with-rents-ask-mark-zuckerberg-for-help.html?__source=yahoo%7Cfinance%7Cheadline%7Cheadline%7Cstory&par=yahoo&doc=104319084&yptr=yahoo

This is interesting. Does anyone know how employees go about organizing a class action suit against a large company? Sexual harassment in the workplace isn’t so uncommon; especially in highly competitive sales driven businesses but discrimination, verbal, and physical abuse is also on the rise. Too many workers being violated and afraid to speak up out of humiliation and fear of losing their job. I bought my engagement ring at Kay Jewelers. I wish i would have know this before I gave them my business. Shame on you!!

Please excuse my implied language jobcase family but this is f**king preposterous! How are companies in NYC, of all places, getting away with this? This isn’t an illegal immigrant directed situation either as the article clearly indicates unfair hiring and wage bias against all non-white employees. If anyone’s applying or thinking of a job at B&H please be careful and make sure you know what you’re about to get yourself into.

Here's a list of companies that allow you to work from home! https://www.glassdoor.com/blog/20-companies-work-from-home-hiring-now/

Today I found a web publishing position with a company that helps people rent out their RVs to other people when the owners aren't using them. Kind of like an AirBnB for RVs. I read the job description, the duties, the responsibilities....and the very end it said, "Must be fluent in Chinese." WTF?
I visited their web site and looks as though a Chinese person was trying to write the content in English and doing a horrible job at it. Tons of typos, terrible grammar....just ridiculous. Kind of like English translations of Hong Kong films: "Now I will spank you without pants!"
