I received a call today stating that I was randomly chosen to receive $9,000 in free federal grant money, because I pay my bills on time. I have heard of free grant money, but have never received a call about this until now. Some jobs don't pay this much unless you are the owner, executive, stockholder, or have that dream job of sorts. What screamed scam to me was the rep told me to register myself through purchasing a $250 I-tunes card. After registering, I can receice the money through Western Union or Money Gram. Free grant money may exist, but who knows for sure? Has anyone else received any forms of communication like this?

We just filled the Tallahassee position, but we have you in line for the Georgia Lab. We are waiting for the official signatures on the contract so that we may start to hire for those positions. We definitely want you on our team. Would you like for us to keep you updated as we receive news? We know that you have to give two weeks-notice, but that should line up perfectly with contracts being signed, and your official start date.

I am not sure what this means? It has been a little over three weeks. I am not sure what to do?

I've been invited to interview--finally--at an insurance agency. Instead of a background check, though, they want to see my credit score. Should I be suspicious of this? I've never heard of it before and it doesn't seem right to me.

Via text, today, I received msg in regard to an interview for a 'job' that supposedly I applied for. The caller or communicator ('recruiter' was never mentioned) for the company asked me which position am I interested in. Then inquired about whether I have a HANG OUT ID for connecting with the HR Manager and others for an "online interview......the company is under maintenance at this time." HANG OUT does not sound serious to me when it come to my search for employment. That back and forth online is ....I do not have time for that. I feel an interview with oral communication is much more feasible than trying to key in a conversation. Seeking work is becoming more challenging by the day. Please enlighten me about HANG OUT online.

I had a foreign man call my phone today telling me I would recieve grant money just for showing interest in going to school. He put me on the phone with a third party to confirm but the whole ordeal struck me as crazy odd.

So I've had my share of interviews and I usually know what to prepare for. However, I am currently looking for another job position and I received an email stating they viewed my resume online or it was given to them as a referral. I called the person and when I spoke to them, they asked if I could send a copy of my resume and...get this...if they could have the last 4 digits of my SSN. First things first, I've never met these people yet and you're asking me for something very personal. And second, you just told me you received my resume off a job site or got it as referral from someone. This makes no sense to me, so I didn't send them anything again. Has this happen to anyone before?
