So i recently landed a job working as inventory control i was really excited about the job since i been off work for 8 weeks after my surgery..so things were starting to look up i got hired immediately went and did a drug test and the very next day began orientation 2nd day on the job i get a call to HR so i go in and was told that my drug test came back positive for marijuana i dont even smoke .. I offered to take another test and told them that they could re test me at any point they wanted but with the business being open for a year and me being a recent hire they let me go...I over heard the HR personnel say they had this issue last year with new hires ...Im wondering why they even hired me in the first place most jobs wont hire you on until your background and drug screen comes back ...

I just got back from my second interview for a construction company. I applied for a heavy equipment operator position. I have 30 years experience. I showed up 15 minutes early. They told me they liked me and my experience from first interview. They informed me the superintendent would have final say. So they wanted me to show that I could do what I claimed. They sent to a job site and put me on 3 different pieces of equipment. A front end loader, excavator and a bulldozer. I ran each one for about 15mins.each. They had a pipe crew that was trying to connect to existing water line. Superintendent told me they had been trying for 2 days. I told the pipe Forman a couple of things to try. He did and made the connection in about 15mins. He thanked me for my help. The superintendent and I went to the site trailer and he said it was obvious I knew what I was doing. But he didn't need someone to do his job and I wasn't what he wasn't looking for. That I had to much experience for the position. Sounds job scared to me.

i cant find the actual website that has the assessment on it.

Very well. It was my second time working there and one of my favorite jobs I did my interview and then I went in and I did my computer test and passed and then I was hired on part-time of course if you can please hire me part-time y'alls company will be spotless inside and out thank you

I had applied at Cracker Barrel and after filling out the application online. I had to take the agree and disagree test. Really? I really dislike these test and I asked for help while at the unemployment filling out the online agree and disagree test. After i submitted the application i received an email from Cracker Barrel to come in for an interview the next day. I applied for a hostess position . The next day i arrive for the interview and I am early enough time to eat and observed the workers and not telling them I am here for a job. I pay for my lunch and then tell the cashier I am here for an interview. The manager tells me oh we are not looking for hostess but needing waitress after i tell him that I will be going to school in the morning for nursing and I can work in the afternoon after i tell him this.. oh.. we will call you if we need you..
The second time I applied to Cracker Barrel in Florida.. I got an email to call to set up an interview to come in.. I arrived i tell the cashier I have an appointment for an interview with Danny .. I wait and wait for this guy. as i am waiting .i look around the store.. ok.. finally some guy ask me my name and what i m applying for .. he takes me to table in another dinning room and offers me a drink.. a sprite i say.. .. as i waiting ..the hostess talks to me.. she has a computer tablet in her hands.. and ask my name and what i am applying for.. i tell her my name is April.. she repeats my name "Maple" no my name is April not Maple.. oh thats what i say.. anyways she leaves.. suddenly this Indie man sits across me.. oh are Danny ... i shake his hand.. he goes over my application.. and the score of this agree and disagree test.. he says I did not pass this test and its says not to hire you.. .. oh.. why do you want to work here.. why are you better than the rest of the other applicants he has 13 other people to interview. I am a good and friendly person.. I will attend to the customer needs.. I told him i left Tenneses few weeks ago.. and i was working at Burger King.. .. oh.. wow.. its not enough he says.wanting someone with formal dining room experience.. Cracker barrel is not formal dining.. to me its not.. The guy was jerk and went to hostess for hand sanitizer..after shaking my hand .. jerk !

Hello! I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Business in 2013 from Indiana University. I graduated with 135 credits, but I need 15 more to sit for CPA exam. Anybody else in this situation? Any recommendations that do not involve a masters program?

They ask me if I know how to calculate the distribution of Diesel thru depot .

Took the test past the test now I go in for an interview would it be safe to say that I got the job

I took the test last Friday and I passed 2 of the 3 but the one I failed in getting a second chance on. Guess it's a good sign they want me to retake it

When applying for a position the questions are a little much. Does the personalty quiz really necessary.
