Server at Longhorn Steakhouse

I don't work there anymore, but when I did I was there for over 4 years and I will tell you, at that time they were really strict about checking references and what not, I actually applied as a server initially and I was in my early 20s had several years experience but because one of my references from my previous employers was enough for the general manager to ask me why I was terminated (I had a really bad guest complaint from a large party) he would not hire me as server at first so I had to start as host. But on the other hand, I also I had a background(multiple misdemeanors and 1 felony 5)and that DID NOT affect my employment- but I also did not have any theft or drug charges. I also worked with a girl that had felony theft/fraud charges who was hired. So honestly, I would give it a shot, depending on the manager they may not use it against you as long as your honest if they ask about it. But they will check references and background but I never heard anything about them looking at my social media. But, I was a hiring manager for another restaurant and we DID do background checks mainly just looking for theft or drug charges, and if we could pull them up on Facebook we did occasionally look. So if your concerned about something on your social media page I would just set it to private while your on the job search. I hope this helped lol

I'm a dedicated Administrative Assistant with comprehensive experience maintaining executive calendars, coordinating travel and large scale meeting arrangements, development of presentations, preparation of meeting packets, and management of third party vendors. At my current company, GrandMayan.net LLC, I am valued by the CEO and her staff as a critical support pillar for the team; Keeping calendars, correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting packets/presentations organized at all times. I am frequently praised for my ability to handle complex tasks and solve problems without requesting input, but also maintain an awareness of when input may be desired. My background includes extensive experience overseeing the development and management of programs and activities, spearheading budget management, behavior management, and team building functions. I excel at identifying and rectifying areas in need of improvement to achieve optimal efficiency, productivity, and overall quality.

From my experience looking at your online activity isn't a requirement during back ground check. As Shantel states the manager may take it upon themselves to check into.

I am looking for a senior position in insurance risk management in any industry. My background at a global broker in the private equity industry practice has given me insight to many industries. However, I am also looking at the insurer vertical as to project/process management and business analytical roles.
