I've been a homemaker my adult life with one bartender job during the eighties, I'm now seeking employment. I am a hard working dependable person with a lot to offer to the right job.

Hello everyone! I hope all is well for me I'm ready to go back to work now. My daughter is in school and my baby boy is 7 months now on top of me going to school online. I'm looking for a part time job preferably within the school district so I'm guaranteed to have the weekends off. I live in Union city, Ga if anyone has any recommendations I'm open for them all. Thanks in advance and I pray for everyone's progress

Hello all,
I have been looking and seeking employment aggressively for 6 months I have been on multiple interviews and have always received good feed back and moved to the next round but have not received many offers. I am looking for a good job that has good pay to provide for me and my girls. I am a hard worker with a vast background including non-profit management, admin asst and real estate. I am a quick learner who is flexible, task orientated and a problem solver.
I do not have my degree but have been actively working until the end of last year when my remote position ended. Sometimes I feel that I my resume is filled with too much info because I am trying to show that I have the skills and can do the job even though I don't have a degree.
Also, for those who live or have lived in the Atlanta area, do you feel is that the majority of jobs hire from within or based off of referrals of current employees?
If anyone out here can give me any suggestions, resources or feedback that would be great.

So tire of applying for these jobs, but I can't quit because I have two small children's who need stuff everyday but, its so frustrating when constantly apply to jobs and hardly get feedback. Im not gonna let it get me down or defeat me.

I am currently on the hunt for a job as a certified medical administrative assistant or as a certified billing and coding specialist back in my hometown. The challenge I am facing is that I am applying from an overseas location and I'm newly certified with only "high school" type jobs on my resume since I have been a sahm for the last 7 1/2 years. I have tried follow up emails with my job applications but only get sorry but if only you were in the area type responses. My future employers do not have to cover any type of relocation cost as that is already covered. I am trying to get an interview or two lined up before we get back stateside or a job where I can start within 5 days of arrival. Any Advice???

To all of you beautiful and young Moyer's. My mother-in-law use to tell me to use $5 out of each check I received for myself and leave another $5 in my bank account! I know it might seem as if you all can't do such. However, you all MUST! Start saving up for retirement at a VERY/MUY young age! Use coupons for the grocery stores ( some are online I think and can be printed out), shop at the dollar tree store/99cent store for some of the food you prepare! Purchase some clothes/shoes/coats from the second hand store( I did and bought stuff that was not worn out plus highend/nice looking; no I didn't shop at such places for my daughters). Work hard and shop CHEAP especially if you're a single parent and or your family doesn't have the funds! Be humble... You will truly see the dividends at the END! Maybe this post is meant for single fathers too...???

I have been out of the work force for several years raising a family, and am looking to jump back in, but only part time. What success have you had finding fulfilling part-time work?

I'm having trouble getting hired because I have large employment gaps due to getting married, being a stay at home mom for years and then going back to college. Any advice for bridging the gaps?
