I’m trying to get hired(aren’t we all) for a second job. I want to avoid fast food because I want to expand my experience but no one I apply to wants to hire me. I show enthusiasm in person and on the phone I’m also 20 years old, bilingual and proficient in MS Office as well as other areas and ready to learn more. But most times I’m turned away, how can I increase my probability when I now have one job? Any help is appreciated.

I am a Graphic Designer which lost her job back in 2007 like everyone else. Between my ex boss giving a bad recommendation because I collected unemployment. To no one hiring for years after that and not being Latin enough. I understand and speak Spanish but I don't read or write it, but then again I didn't need to know the language when I was doing work in Russian, Portuguese or French. But some reason I need to be fluent Spanish to work in Miami, because it's not part of the USA. I have been out of work for the last 11 years. Now at 55 I feel I will never get hired in Miami.

For the past 30 years , my goal has been to dedicate myself to improve my health through nutrition, fitness, taking care of my emotions, learning how to keep inner peace and couping with life changes and challenges. I went back to school, then after a set back in my life I couldn’t finish my AA in Fitness I continued re- inventing myself . I got certified as a professional Bilingual medical interpreter . Then three years later I decided to get a certification as a Personal trainer/ Nutrition coach. I also, studied and went through all levels in Reiki till I reached The Reiki master level. I have never stopped learning new skills to be able to help others through my own experience and improvement. I am in the process of learning Italian to be able to reach more people .The Sky is not the limit is an inspiration to continue learning about this amazing world and our people.
