I applied for Caribou coffee and got the job as a barista. I’m super happy! My interview was just at a job fair with a quick walk in interview. She told me she didn’t want a second interview with me and she was gonna hire me on the spot! #blessed

I have literally been putting job applications in for at least a year to some medical field jobs, and it seems nobody wants to hire without years and years of experience. It’s really hard and depressing when your a young college student trying to better yourself, but nobody will give me a chance. I have medical background, certification in EKG, years of exceptional customer service satisfaction. I’m also going to school for nursing. I guess I just need to keep praying God will make a way. I left one job to get closer to home because the commute was horrible, well I started that job and after getting settled in I was let go, I never felt so hurt in my life, however I did not give up and I called on the name of Jesus so many times "thank goodness God never get tired of us calling on him :) I prayed daily but I always have I gave it all to God and trusted in his promise to provide, well I am still praying and trusting God and will always magnify His name, let me tell you I know He's worthy to be praised...I will start my new job as a Certified Medical Assistant 03/26/18..I'm so thankful and Blessed, I would read several post where the comments always lifted my spirits especially when they told of Gods goodness and always told the poster to pray and give it to God...You all are truly some prayer warriors and I am so glad to have a community filled with Believers of Gods goodness, grace and mercy..Thank You All...

You know I don’t even get on this app for posting comments are what ever this app is really for I used this app too make a resume and for jobs . I’m not mad that I made a lot of mistakes in the past but ,I learn form my mistakes . I look around everyone wants something that someone has well I don’t . I like who I am today and I say this becuase a lot of people today are very negative it’s sad sometimes I don’t even think people know that there being negative and some know that they are but swear up and down there trying too give constructive criticism but it’s not really it’s just a power trip too make them selves feel good becuase really for real there not happy in there life are environment that there surrounded by every day . Well I may not be rich and I may not drive a fancy car but I have A high school diploma I’m very intelligent and I achieved a lot of goals in my life I still have more to come so too all don’t let nothing no one stop you stay #Blessed

I seriously can't believe I found a full time job being that the construction industry is kinda competitive when looking for a job in that kinda industry and I don't have a lot of experience on the job but only a lot of knowledge of different processes. But I've been looking for a job since December 11, 2017 and no one actually had given me a call back about an interview, so something told me to go and give my former welding instructor a visit at the college and talk to him. I went over there and I told him about me not being able to find a job at the moment and he asked me if I wanted to work for Golden Dragon Copper and I said yes I do and he gave them a call and that next day I had an interview. I kinda feel like there's something that God wants me to focus in on at this moment, just like when I was looking for a job a when I graduated college and around the 13 of June 2016 McDonald's was the only company that called for an interview but I'm glad for that because it worked around my college schedule and I know for a fact of who's really in charge of everything when it comes anything and everything, God is definitely the one. I remember at church, the first Sunday of this month there was a sermon that the preacher had preached and he mentioned that God actually wants us to be productive about things in the year of 2018, I think this is definitely that time for that. #Thankful #blessed #job #fulltime #employed #GodisAmazing

Just wanted to share with you what happened to me. I am new in New York. I have been working in Asia for 10 years of my life. Have had good paying solid jobs but when I came to New York, I started from scratch. I graduated Major in Information Technology, but I havent used my skills because the job opportunities that came back then were call center jobs. So in NY, I got accepted for a job of IT Helpdesk Admin. I am very grateful that my boss took me in and trusted me that I can do my job even though I didnt have experience. The only bad thing is, my team is messy. The guys I am working with are very lazy. They will try as much as they can to dodge jobs that are given to them. But even though it is challenging, it benefited me in many ways. I had to do initiative to learn things on my own and do the job myself because I genuinely love to help people. And because of this, I have become a more experienced IT person. One thing though, being that this Was an entry level job for me, I was paid like a newly grad college. Anyways, 2 years now and I decided I nEed to find another firm that knows how to value me, and will pay me market value. Here I am, going to start my ne job soon, and got $14k more or what Im getting plus bonus. The bad situation I was in my team was kinda useful. It paved the wah for me to now find a better opportunity.
