It's a community club that has and does a variety of things. Like for examples: they have certain clubs you can join to do community service project, be in the parade, go on field trips, etc....the moral of this explanation is that they also have jobs for kids as young as 14 years old. You interview for either a kitchen staff, teen staff, kids staff, or a jr staff which helps out all staffs. I was a jr staff that got paid same amount as the other staffs but only worked a certain amounts of hours. This was also a temporary job.
I was a single mom and couldn't afford after school care I think it was 15 bucks for the whole school year I then shared my blessings by volunteering helping other parents and students
Not only was I a lifeguard. I was a member of the community. We guided the youth in the right direction. We served lunch to anyone in need. We also had other programs to keep the youth interested in activities and keep them out of trouble. The boys and girls club was a great place for kids to go to for after school activities and events. We also helped with school work. We as active bodies was able to give guidance and show leadership. The kids would give respect because we showed respect.
I'm not disappointed at Boys and Girls Club I still work there during the school year.

I had a paid internship with the boys and girls club well getting my G.E.D I then had to decision between several educational facilities I began my course of work at Rio Vista Middle School after school program working with children from ages 11-14 year old
