I had been a waitress, server, cook at restaurants since I was a kid. One day I stumbled across the perfect opportunity and was able to achieve my dream of owning my own restaurant 3 years later my husband and business partner died suddenly from a heart attack. We were 45 and 38 and the kids were 10, 12, 15 and 16 years of age. I closed for a couple months and reopened it for about a year but it wasn't the same without Him. I closed it about 14 months after he passed. I worked again in the restaurants but I didnt have the passion for it anymore. One day I decided to completely change careers. I just started a job in retail and I love it!! If you're stuck in a rut, take a chance and switch up your game. So many of our skills will translate to other careers.
