HHA is Home Health Aide (or Assistant). They are not certified, and can help with duties such as general housekeeping, and companionship. CNA is Certified Nursing Assistant, and can make more per hour then HHA. They have to work certain number of hours under an LPN or RN ion order to keep their license (certificate). Most companies will pay more if you have CNA license then an HHA. Hope this helps Linda D.
