I enjoyed meeting new plp every day and fast pace

Being young it taught me patience, you don't always have the most pleasant of people coming in the doors. You don't know what they have already dealt with for the day, you can't take it personal. You just smile and treat with respect.

I am depressed ,I had a decent job working at Chevron as a closer and cashier but I was only getting 28hours per week which isn't enough to live on. So I decided to beg for a job at Walmart in which I have been hired twice but decided not to take the positions, so I begged for a position doing overnight maintaince. Where basically all i do is clean bathrooms , gather up carts and do trashes . The position is full time and it's a lot less stress than Chevron and I actually get my breaks than but now here I am feeling like i took a step down from being a cashier to cleaning bathrooms. I talked to my manager today and he says he wants me doing maintaince for at least 6 months and I am not sure if I can handle doing that position for 6 months . I feel like saying "hey dude " I am normally a cashier and I have a lot more to offer walmart than just cleaning the bathrooms. I am stuck, Chevron won't hire me back because I quit so where do I go from here? I am depressed and I need a door to open somewhere because no offense I have a lot to offer a business and I am good at customer service and I am a natural leader .

Don't work at the chevron at 100 Alliance Road Bessemer Alabama. When the new owner took over the place went to hell! He himself is a good person but the shit that goes on at the store is a whole different story! I worked there for 4 years.

I personally never had any issues/ drama with co-workers nor customer's. I'm a quick thinker and key problem solver

I loved my regular everyday customer's and meeting new people from all walks of life. And the fact that i worked for a wonderful supervisor/ boss.

I turned the pump on before someone paid and they drove off... I had to pay for the gas
