How is the Coronavirus impacting you? How are you doing and how is your family getting through. With older teen children, what are they doing to stay active, busy, and not getting bored?

I've had a lot of parents reach out to me and ask what they should be doing with their kids while schools are closed because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

I've been sending a lot of educational worksheets and coloring books home, but I came across this article that has a lot of really fun ideas for kiddos. If you are staying home with the littles, take a look at these activities! Teacher approved :)

I was incredibly worried and stressed about our baby so we took her out of daycare early on and moved to working from home.

I never thought I would be a "stay at home"/working mom. Usually, it's one or the other, but here I am doing both. I think I just created a new title right there ; )

Things are now VERY different than they were a few weeks ago but I think everyone is feeling that sense of pressure because we are unsure of what is to come next.

Are any other parents out there feeling stressed or concerned?

I am SO nervous! I work for a small business that cleans homes, hotels and motels so I work with a lot of traveling people all the time! I feel like this gives me a higher chance of exposure to the virus. Is this true?

I also have two young kids at home and I worry about them. What if I get sick and can't go to work??

             PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ

So I was wrongfully terminated for my job because someone else at a different company said something inappropriate about somebody else, I believe they chalked it up as harassment because there's nothing you can do about it the state of Iowa. I'm a single father of a 15 year old boy not collecting any state government assistance so I live paycheck to paycheck the next week was time to pay rent and I lost my place to live for me or my son the Lost most of our belongings then the state DHS once you take my son because I have nowhere for him to live. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR ANYTHING I CAN DO

The flexible schedule. I’m a single father and being able to work remote when needed made a big difference.

I’ve been staying home to raise children for the past 12 years and even though I had a strong resume before that, I’m not getting any calls back for interviews. Could it be the gap in my employment? Could it be because I’m older? Any suggestions are welcomed. #interview

I recently got really sick and lost my job. The company never paid me for 2 of the days I worked I have tried everything on my own to get paid. How does it work with the labor board helping me get my money. I have kids I need to care for and I just want my money.
