I would not recommend anyone work there. City management and Human Resources are horrible.

It was great to help citizens of Austin with reports they made of crashes

I coordinated events that made the employees feel more appreciated for the work they did daily

Unfortunately, this organization will not support you if something bad happens to you. They will victim blame, shame and silence you. They recently called to have me do some work. I was open minded, hoping they had changed, but it was more of the same. Telling me my work and pay could not be comparable to a male artist, refusing to give me a straight answer on pay, telling me where I live, how I live, what my experiences were with certain populations and expressing shock and disbelief when I told them they were way off base. This is a toxic environment for women. Years ago, I was told by 2 administrators there that I was at fault for being raped. In the years that followed, whenever I would return to the office people would comment on my weight, hair color, attractiveness and what they assumed was my past. I endured stares and snickering. One crew member asked a man who knew me if he had "fd" me yet. The complaint was not believed and that man still works there. Take the money and run with this company. They will act like they care but they don't. Don't be fooled.

Independenc,Mo is a corrupt city and always has been.I learned if you want to get ahead, you have to kiss ass

I was ,as a sales rep, left to my own means to develop my sales revenue. This trust allowed me to be successful. The staff was fun to work with and the owner was a good man.

IT is the greatest place, that you can ever want to work.
From Charlene S. Barnes an ex-employee

Airport, night time.a passenger went outside. It's dark and it's still f****** hot

When I worked there I was under the impression that it was for God, but I found out it was a business.and that is great.I loved working there, great people. But using the lord's as a platform wasn't okay.its like Easter and Passover? What do they have in common?
