What I liked was caring for this 100 yr old lady for almost a year. She was so sweet an a pleasure to be with 9/hrs daily, 5-6 days per week. We got very close...I was her primary caregiver. I miss her dearly, but she's at peace now in Heaven. Amen

This is RE: Office Mgr. I complained to office staff about a caregiver I was relieving from her overnite shift. I was filling in for regular caregiver @ 8am. Got to the home and knic knocked, no answer. I rang doorbell, no answer...door was locked. I called the on- call # for staff. They in turn call this overnite girl on her cell...woke her up. She finally came to door @ 8:23a. She was rude and obviously not awake yet. I had never been there before and was very rude and had left thus beautiful home in a disaray. Trash can was overflowing; dirty dishes in sink; dog poop on floor near back door. She not only slept on her shift, (Big No No) but didn't do what needed to be done. As soon as she left I called the office # and spoke with MGR. It didn't seem to bother her. If your getting paid for not fullfilling your shift duties, and leaving it for the relief person, that's unacceptable! These clients are paying alot of money for services not rendered and management doesn't care!!! That's bad business practice!

Was with a man in his 70's...he had alot of frustration because he was unable to live h Ii s life like before his stroke. I had made him breakfast: bacon; scrambled eggs w/spam and a bagel. He needed assistance with feeding. When he saw his plate he grabbed the bacon and threw it on the floor and said too crispy...he grabbed the bagel and threw it in trash and told me out of the blue "Fuck You". I was in shock at first and then I told him, "Now I know how you like your bacon & I won't bring you a bagel if you don't like them. I was in tears because I also told him I'm HERE to help you. He was simply a Mean & Frustrated man. I was only there for a few more days, thank God!

I was cut back on hrs...and when I gave my 2/wk notice to discontinue employmt. because I was moving from San Angelo to Lubbock I was going to turn in new employment application to Lubbock office I was told not to bother...I probably wouldn't be rehired. I was told over & over again I was 1 of their BEST Caregivers. They backstab you & treat you like a used rag in the end. The Managements only goal is to bring in the money for their salary's. To hell with the Caregivers. .or as I referred to us...as the worker bees.

They can't guarantee a 40/hr work week & the pay is lousy. Office personnel do not communicate with one another and they don't give details to Caregivers on clients specific needs. They just throw you the address and name and leave it to the individual Caregiver to figure out the specifics. Poor Management!

Client got upset because i got pulled to another client she liked the care i provided .

Lol, for thanksgiving. We had a lot luck, and one our workers mixed up the sugar and salt... lol, e fads, my blood pressure is still high

It's very rewarding both personally and professionally! There's always incentives the company is offering and it's flexible!

I was wondering what type of positions are available ?
