I had a quarter end performance review with my manager this week. Scored an overall 4 out of 5 rating and received a $.27 cent raise. I make $11.50 per hour right now. This is my first full time job. Is this an average pay increase for a higher end performance rating?

I worked as an Operations Manager for 2+ years. On Feb. 9th I did hurt myself working at the store, and did mention about it to the GM and other employees at the time. I did not have a chance to go to the Doctor until my day off on Tuesday Feb. 14th., but at that time I used my own insurance. It was the sciatic nerve, they gave me medication, recommended rest and I had a follow up visit on March 1st.. After my doctor visit I took Wednesday Feb. 15th off as a sick day to try to recover. On Thursday the 16th. I received a text asking me to go early to a meeting, I arrived to the store and they let me go. My insurance ended on Tuesday Feb. 21st, and since the GM did not enter the injury as workman's comp related, I did not go to my follow up appointment. I called the company and explained the situation, that the injury was a the time I was still an employee, but they have a third party handling the case and I have been waiting for over a month for an answer. What can I do?

Recently concluded my most recent tenure as Chief Operating Officer for a local Capital Venture holdings group. Looking to make a change and am seeing what is out there in the employment market at the moment. What are some places on here with high earning potential and merit-based mobility? New to JobCase seeing as I haven't had need to look for work in awhile

I'm currently working at Paddington Station for $7.25/hour, no benefits from 11am-7pm with 2 year olds. I have a job offer with Marriott Hotels as a front desk receptionist for $10/hour, little benefits, wonderful company and more in my line of work. But I just started a week ago at Paddington station. What should I do?

Here's my situation. I'm looking for a better paying job that offers insurance. My dilemma, however, when I was17 years old I was convicted of a felony (I'm 41 now), and whenever "that question" comes up in interviews the doors are slammed shut...figuratively speaking. What can I do about this, or does anyone have any leads to a job. I haven't been in any kind of trouble since 1993, but every interview is always another jury trial! I need a break PLEASE!
