Lost my job as painter's helper/ paint preparation & detail, reason being my mother had terminal cancer and my wife had stroke, taking time off work to tend to both of their issues, hospital papers, insurance info. and legal documents on both sides. Liked my job, enjoyed the everyday duties it involved, hadn't missed work prior to this. But family is most important to me!!!

learning.. helps to think first and then act; or act first - then think about what I did... at times , I can accomplish any thing I want , but then it stops, it was just my imagination.... I like to laugh.... I like to figure things out... I tend to look on the bright side of things... Many workers in my trade tend put up barriers to protect themselves instead of opening themselves up to others ideas and /or other solutions . This, in turn, leads to a mistrust of others...we all tend to congregate in our little groups without giving much thought to others around us....When we get to learn about others and respect our similarities and our differences, we get to learn so much more about the world and about ourselves....In looking to succeed , I'm hoping to gravitate towards people I believe are similar in outlook to myself , but not restricting myself to that mindset, otherwise, i think we would miss out on many interesting experiences... Maybe , tolerance is the key, You can still maintain your identity , your believes . but also understand and recognize the usefulness of cooperative practices , teamwork can be highly beneficial for anyone and any business .

Drama at #S&BConstruction/J&JConstructionservices

In my 3rd year I brought my brother in law in to the business because I was busy and needed help. One day while working for the local taco John's who had been a regular customer prior to this incident he showed up drunk. We were there on a floor repair he started to get irritated cause we had to work around employees trying to get food out. He got close to the manager while running off at the mouth, she smelled his breath and pulled me aside and said something to me about it. Long story short we finished the job and they've never called me back since. Shortly after that he moved back to Wyoming and I lost a good customer.

I got to learn how to repair bridges and work with a good crew. Learned how to use different tools and equipment. I also drove the tool truck and help maintain the tools and equipment that was stored inside the truck.
