I was diagnosed 2 terms before my college graduation.. I pulled through and graduated ! I hold an associates degree in applied science of criminal Justice. My main reason for addressing the field was to help juvenile delinquents . whether it would be in a group home setting, institutionalize setting, home visits, etc..... I'm willing to except an intern position for however long it takes to earn the possible position.

I'm looking for a different job. I've been a certified nursing assistant for 20 years and recently graduated with my MPA with a specialty in criminal justice. Really having problems getting started with the right job and the right direction to go. Please help

Hi Leah, public admin/criminal justice is a broad area with a range of possible job postitions. Try narrowing your focus to specific positions. Also entry-level positions are a great way to get experience and your foot in the door. There are entry-level positions that require a degree so being over qualified shouldn't be a problem. Definitely consider government positions. You're more likely to get at least the opportunity to interview. Happy hunting and good luck!

i went to college for criminal justice and worked as security and correction officer for to long. I got out of that career and went out to the oil field and didn't last long there and now working as a machine operator. As many here are tired of their jobs and could've made their life easy by doing a (big change) which i wish it was that easy. I NEED A CHANCE IN THIS WORK FORCE. I'm from Fort Worth Texas and I feel like i'm dragging my head with this job. If anyone please help and show me where are some life changing jobs near me that are willing to give a chance to work without much experience. Please and thank you!
