55, out of work now for over a year. Several interviews always come in 2nd. I last worked for a convention center but also have experience in non-profit and have tried to get back into it. Would also consider Health Care or retirement communities, but they won't talk to me without experience...Looking for suggestions.

Well I have been looking for a job for almost 4 months. I have a very long background and it's been very difficult for me. Everyone always say all you have to do is try, but yet no one want to give a hard working, honest, loyal, and dependable, person a second chance. I am one class away from getting my associate's degree. I am trying to make a honest living why won't anyone take this into consideration??? All my charges are at least 9 years old. Dallas, Tx

There's nothing more surprising than to walk into your building and all of corporate has flown in. Uh oh, this can't be good... We know how the rest goes: remainder benefits, last check, and a white box. There's no sense in dwelling on it though. What I am really looking for is my next opportunity. So brief synopsis: I have worked for the mortgage industry for at least five years. Some of my experience is default home lending, and the rest is originations; which is also my most recent specialization.

I'm looking for the following positions: Loan closer, title agent, escrow officer, loan processor, JR underwriter, compliance, or anything equivalent/similar to the previous.

The job search is going pretty slow; so I am soliciting your help (serious referral/inquiries only please). By serious I mean I am not trying to Uber, network market, buy ownership in a business, or build a pyramid (smile). This is so serious for me, and if you can help or know anyone, please reach out to me, and I will reply ASAP.

Here's my Linked-In: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sheree-logan/ & Email: sheree.n.logan@gmail.com

Thanks again!

Sincerely, Sheree Logan

I have an unusual skill, I think that it was probably by working on hundreds of different projects. I grew up on the farm even plowed behind a mule, picked cotton, worked on numerous construction projects, as an auto mechanic, a beginner draftsman, became a master electrician, then a senior electrical designer, then over the years was sent out to solve complex industrial problems. I am not real computer savie but I did auto cad for about (5) years, Once I was sent on a project as a senior designer to a project in Vancouver Wa. for Crown Zellerbach to study the logic diagrams for their largest paper machine (#20) so as to convert it from a modicon to a honeywell DCS. even though I was not very familiar with logic diagrams I was successful in making the conversion in (3) months. Another time I was called in as a estimator at $27/hr., I had never worked as an estimator in my life, to work on the worlds largest wafer manufacturing plant that was being constructed in Vancouver, Wa. There was a problem with their chemical plant that I successfully solved. I worked with the electrical engineer at Oregon Steel Mills on their schematics for their reheat furnace that was designed in Las Alamos NM. and the results was a savings of $50,000/Mo.on natural gas,Just to name a few.
