I've been looking for a full time data entry position for a year and have had several interviews for jobs I know I'm qualified but have been turned down. I'm thinking it's my age but can't prove it. Very frustrating.

I'm a 38 year old mother of an 8 year old Autistic child, who is in desperate need of a job. My background is in Office Administration and Data-Entry. I am signed up with a Temp Agency called Ajilon, but they haven't been able to give me an assignment in 4 months despite having numerous job postings that I have applied to. I have taken 4 assessments. 1) Typing: 56 WPM 2.) Microsoft Word: 100% 3.) Excel: 98% 4.) Outlook 2013: 80% . Those scores are current as of 5/16/2017. My primary background is in Data-Entry, and a secondary in Office Administration.

The temp agency Ajilon, keeps telling me that there are no assignments for me, though when I visit their website I find countless Data-Entry and Office Admin positions. I have been throwing out 250 resume submissions a week. I have been tweaking and revising my resume as needed and I am doing everything I can to find a position in my area. I have an open schedule, reliable transportation, I am hard working and I have references that can vouch for my steadfast determination to do my very best in any assignment. If I don't know something I will try my hardest to learn, I take countless pages of notes when training, and I try to continue my education as best as I can. I love in La Crescenta, CA so I don't mind driving to places like Woodland Hills, Burbank, Chatsworth, Glendale, and such.
