Hello, this is Kevin. So I'm actually 20 years old(I'm not sure if it is because of that) but I've been looking for a job in the web development industry and so far I get nothing or I just get people to call me, have a little chat and from there I don't ever get a call again.

I have tried indeed and most of the jobs that I know I'm fit are like 2-3 hours away!. I mean is not that I can not go and work there but you got to understand I'm still 20 years old I don't even live by myself, I can not afford to use my car that often specially because it is expensive. So come on, I'm just want a job in FTW area!.

I have experience in PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, WordPress(self hosted version), I know how to create responsive websites(Bootstrap, Materialze),etc; in case I don't know something the job is asking me for, believe me I will try to learn as much as I can at that same day/night! just to be able to keep up.

I have been working freelance for the past 7 years as a LAMP stack developer. I have completed over 90% of my deadlines and never failed to complete a milestone. My code is W3C compliant and I follow the tenants of OOP religiously. Despite wonderful feedback from every major Freelance site I am failing to build my client base. In an attempt to retain clients and secure future business, I follow up politely with every client and even offer finder fees for any referrals they might provide to their colleagues. I like to think I am eloquent enough to get the point across that I require work to survive but somehow I am dropping the ball. My question is for successful LAMP stack developers. I would like to know any methods used to encourage clients to grow their businesses and increase their value through my efforts. Thanks for your thoughts.
