I though I did everything right. I applied, got accepted by a franchise store with Dominos Pizza because they would love to hire me for a rare position I was highly qualified for. Did the interview, assessments and and exams i had to take for safety and all online legal paperwork for background checks, was under corporate review for nearly two weeks just to get denied. I'm safety nut without any known criminal history. I was sure to get the job and the store itself was really wanting to hire me but I got no job offer without told a reason at all. What the heck i feel double crossed by the company, What the heck?

I loved the atmosphere,I loved the look on a childs' face as they watched their pizzas being made. I enjoyed working at Dominos because I found it rewarding knowing someone was going to enjoy a delicious dinner that we(as a team) prepared for them. I felt a spence of pride knowing Iwas providing for my family

Finally the offer letter .. after so long searching .

..... so less than verbally told, OK - I can live with $71k..... But can someone give me advise [want an opinion from someone not as emotionally attached to this as I am ]

How would you or would you even ask for 2 weeks vacation (my vacation yearly is in Australia or New Z to visit my parents and 1 week is not enough as travel time is 14 hrs each direction do I need 2). I do not like the "vacation or pay increase" part.

Initially my kids were the issue after a city switch but i worked that out...
