Running a store with the system down or running a store with a down over at the moment very frustrating calling all the customers back and telling them there is a delay and on top of that it puts us behind once we get it back into progress

The last time I had a unpleased customer they had received the items they ordered late and it was cold. When he called I apologized to him stating I will give him the order he paid for and voided the payment while on the phone. I told the upset customer I will remake his pizza and send it free also. He said " thank you, so much it's my daughters birthday I really appreciate it". When the customer told me that I immediately thought I should send a Marbled brownie fudge cake to cheer the family up. Once it was received 2 hours later he came to the store and told me his daughter said it was the best birthday ever when she received her marbled brownie and handed me $50 for a tip. He refused to take the money back so instead I reordered everything and paid for it so my inventory wouldn't be messed up and gave the rest to my driver
