Hello peeps I want to write online articles.

No matter what I do, no matter how much training and schooling I have I just can't seem to find anything in my field! I've gotten my Bachelor's in Professional Writing, my Master's in English and Creative Writing and now I'm working on my MFA in Creative Writing, I didn't feel comfortable moving on to a PhD. I always get the same old "while your skills and qualifications are impressive you do not meet our qualifications." yada yada. I don't have 50 million years of experience in my field but geez how much more qualified do I need to be? I'm just feeling so depressed, like why can't I get a chance?

I’m thinking about pursuing a English teaching position abroad. The pay, benefits, and living incentives for teaching in places like Korea, Japan, and the Philippines are exciting. So is it the thought of living abroad and experiencing a completely new culture. My concern is on the influence that kind of experience will have on my resume and employment marketability when I return to the US. If I take an assignment for a 2-3 years are come back home. Will employers see potential in an applicant with experience abroad or will they be uninterested out of fear of hiring someone who’s out of touch?

I hold a BA in Communications which allows me to teach English (5-12) and Reading. and a Retail Merchandising degree focusing on Fashion. I have years of retail experience and 10 years as a paraeducator in a student at risk classroom and six years as a substitute teacher. I want to find a challenging position in English and Reading Education or a Retail Merchandising position where I am more than a body working nights and weekeknds.
