I have interviews. I was a Vice President of a wall covering company for 12 years, set up showroom space for my company world wide, China, Europe, all major cities in the Us. With my vast knowledge, I cannot get a job because I am a senior citizen! They a will to get someone who does not know any accounts or even know what certain things are because they do not even teach that in school. Tried to get a job a a museum gift shop. Know word on that.

I have been out of work since April 2017! I sent out over 1,500 resumes/job applications during that time.....and only got 3 interviews.....which were 'Bait & Switch' situations. With the amount of experience (25 years in both Civilian and Military Reserves), an MBA, and a 'puritan work ethic', it can get a bit depressing. I am looking for a AVP/VP/Director type position and have the education/experience to more than adequately handle those positions.....what am I doing wrong???
