I have job experience

The two most common reasons people fail interviews are inappropriate dress and ineffective communication skills. I've covered dress in an earlier post, but here I want to address communication. Note I said that the problem was "ineffective" communication, not "poor communication." Most people are extremely competent in their language, but only within a certain "realm" of vocabulary and grammar and creative tradition that forms a subset of their own languages. Nevertheless, if you are going to succeed in an interview, you need to demonstrate proficiency in the vernacular of your interviewers. That means, if you want entry into the elite levels, demonstrated mastery of the semiotic vocabulary of the elite classes, which is basically understanding their behaviors (walking the walk), understanding their language (talking the talk), and being able to engage with their experiences through material goods (getting the T-shirt to show you've you've "been there and done that"). Stop obsessing about ephemeral stuff like video games and tic-toc videos that allow to impress your friends with your vast cultural knowledge. Nobody is going to pay you for your amazing skills in collecting Pokemon cards. Start reading books and watching classic films and learn to talk to gen-xers and millennials. They will be your bosses for the next thirty years.

In my experience, Walmart will work with you and teach you how to work in management. I asked about it and they wanted to train me. There were many long term employees who were Academy trainers and leads

Maybe consider being a claims specialist at an insurance agency. You would be the point of contact for claims to be reported and would learn what policies and/or coverages apply to specific claims and how various claims are handled. You would be in a liaison type of role and would make sure the claims are moving through the adjudication process in a timely manner..an advocate for the customer.

I'm a truck driver for over 40 yrs experience

I was called in to do a two week manual QA assignment in Manhattan. It was a few weeks before 9/11. I did nothing special. For a strange reason I keep asking myself I called the police 2x to report something to protect people downtown if there was a stampede. I collected everyone's phone number which is weird because I don't do that. The list was needed to locate a worker and she was at home OK.
