This will help you realign your thinking ... https://www.livecareer.com/career/advice/jobs/age-advantage

21 + years in the supply field

I do before experiencing stock with box and heavy bring

It seems as if though, as one scrolls through the sea of jobs that are available in the varIous industries; the rate of pay and yearly salaries are a bit of a joke (depending on the industry). Clearly, one would think that Employers today are leaning towards taking advantage of what they view as desperate job seekers that would take the first offer given. Please stop...just Stop it!! My thought is this...If one takes a job out of desperation for an income and soon finds themselves praying for the next payday to roll around, then something is not quite right and it's not ever going to be at that point. An insufficient paycheck is the primary generator of stress and anxiety. It's almost as if though one can get more stressed out on payday then they were while they were going back and forth to work during the cycle....LOL! It's the strangest thing. My suggestion and recommendation to all Job Seekers (Me included) is to find something that you actually enjoy doing, are good at, and have fun with at a salary that make you Happy...well at the very least comfortable; this way when Pay day rolls around it won't be as disappointing or anxiety-ridden.
The disappointing and or saddening part for some, me included, is that it seems as if though rates of pay are actually decreasing at some level. I'm starting to get a real sense of the disparity in incomes based on which part of the country one looks at.
Moral of the Story...Never Settle; Do Research, Look at the Numbers, Know Your Worth, and whatever you do...DON'T TAKE THE FIRST OFFER, ALWAYS, ALWAYS ASK FOR MORE!....strike a balance between Confidence, Gratefulness, Humility and Ambition and NEGOTIATION!!
I mean really....Hadn't we all worked hard to get where we are at this point!
