I worked for family dollar for 6 months had to leave that job cause of transportation but i was getting there everyday when no one else would work but i got took off the schedule which later down the line i got fired the supervisor said i walked off the job but i didnt cause i was took off the schedule to work now i cant got back there to work bad thing about its one right across street from my house but i cant got back there on account of the supervisor putting in a bad review on my work. I could have been an assistant manager but got fired before i got a chance to get there. I worked at two store while i was working. I just need something else to help with me paying my bills so i can stop asking people for money just to get by til i get paid every week its humilating and im not that type of person to sit there looking for handouts all the time. Are you hiring at the new store in west Warwick in very interested I've worked retail for 14 years I've been a department manager ,receiving manger, claims supervisor, customer service supervisor, cahier, stocker.

I liked my job while I was at Family Dollar, but occasionally customers would get confused when something wasn't a dollar. I made sure everything in our store was tagged or had a sign because as a shopper I HATE not knowing how much something is!! Certain items are not a dollar and the old ladies would get so mad at me sometimes. I can't help but laugh a little now. It's not like I determined the prices, but they just got SO worked up! I calmed them down and many times tried to locate a less pricier item for them. I would show them the original price tag of the item and they would turn to me and say "but that's not a dollar!" Bingo ;)

I recently lost my job at Family Dollar. My problem is that the assistant manager was always Makeing inappropriate comments, and hitting on me. I didn't say anything because I didn't want any problems at my new job. When I didn't respond to his behavior , he told the General Manager that I drank a beverage and didn't pay. Causing me to lose my job. How should I justify that?

I would like to work and it would be good for me as long as I can get a good job I’m a hard worker

I have submitted an application, are you still hiring?

Easy and friendly environment.
