The first few months were great. Was settling in and getting along well with my coworkers. However I was not accustomed to working somewhere that didn't actually offer any breaks. it's just you and a assistant manager on duty at all times. Your waiting on customers, checking in vendors, answering the phones and stocking shelves. The store manager was the only one able to take her breaks with her family and leave the store. After awhile I notice that the store manager would talk about how her boss would praise her for the store looking good and for the high sales volume. Mind you she was hardly ever there. I found out later she was actually taking the credit for her employees work. She would come up with contests and never give out the prizes to her customers or her employees. This is where I lost all respect for her and the company. I believe when someone is doing good that person should be recognize, even if it is just to tell them that they are doing a good job. So I guess the craziest thing would be to give credit where it due and to allow them to have their break. Show them respect especially if you want it shown back to you..

I would tell them to always be dependable and to always provide good service with a smile cause you never know who might call corporate to complain or give you a good response. I had many to give me good feed back and was given a reward for intelligent service. To always do your very best as if you would to another employer. Their a good company to work for and I was forunate to have the opportunity to do so. Wish Ibwas still there. Wish like crazy that I would've never left.
