Is it really hard to get a second chance of life when you made a mistake when you was younger?

FYI:) Family Dollar stores will not hire convicted felons!! Please do not waste time or effort going through their many ropes only to be turned around with an apology that they cannot hire you.

I been looking for my career work I been doing. Although I had a dozen interviews and learned to open up right away about my current situation. I lost my driver license to a DUI and can not seem to find this position, without the driving license. As service manager I did not have to drive. My technicians drove. Does anyone know whom my consider me without a driver license?

You know I have seen some things on this site and hope God blesses all with a job. I was convicted of Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenileback in 2001, as well as Felony Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in 2012. During which time I have had several jobs both in security as well as being a house arrest agent and a bounty hunter. Now the catch to it all is that it was proven that I was innocent but since a lawyer forged my name on a plea bargain, I was convicted. So now I face the hardest time trying to get work. People will hire those with all sorts of criminal records except for mine. Not sure that’s even fair.

A 3 time Loser after finally getting out of prison. I had no skills or trade to apply to the work force. I applied for a TWIC card and was eventually granted one after waiting 11 months. I was determined to succeed and not return to pettling drugs. An old customer concedentially was a offshore Sandblasting/Painter Superintendent. He gave me a chance and I displayed my determination in my work ethics.First job I worked their were four 20 plus year veterans. They were mean and very impatient with me all accept one whom taught me the ropes. I then was making 13 dollars an hour in 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico. Now those same 4 painters are now working for me in Alaska on the pipeline as well as the Superintendent that gave my the chance intially. I hired and gave all 5 this opportunity. Im the Boss now! Humbly, I took our craft to the next level with the expectation to eventually become a Corrosion Engineer. Remember I have 3 convictions and all odds were against me and now for the last four years I've made well over 6 figures. With determination you can do anything. #hopeforthehopeless
