To help others ,helping for me is the most gratifying action that we can do.After a disaster life changes, working as a counselor and part of a team together we gave the extra mile to comfort people's disturbing emotions.Hope and self-control was a crucial part of everything we did for survivors after destructive hurricane cat 5.

What I must love about working with Fema is whenever I have a doubt I call or go to my immediate supervisor and they help me rigth away without hesitation .It a pleasure working with these folks.

Nothing. Very rude and disrespectful. Lied about the pay. Also no organization at all in any way shape or form. No training, if u dont know it ur fired. #CHIEF #FEMA

FEMA is #Hiring local Glynn County, GA residents to help their community in the recovery process and to add to disaster operational staffing.

A Local Hire’s term of employment is generally 120 days. The term may be less than 120 days or may be extended for up to one year.

Local Hire positions in Georgia pay between $17 and $45 per hour and may lead to longer-term employment opportunities with state and federal emergency management agencies.

The Hiring Events is scheduled for Monday , December 4, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Georgia Department of Labor’s Brunswick Career Center, at 2517 Tara Lane, Brunswick, GA 31520.
