I recently interviewed for a position was hired on the spot and started the next day. I quickly realized that the position was not what was advertised and the employer was wanting more of a personal assistant. Not to mention I only had 3 hours with the person who's job I was taking over then was left alone for the rest of the day with no idea what I was supposed to do and didn't see the employer again before the end of the day. That evening I emailed and thanked her for the opportunity and explained my concerns as to why I didn't think the job was the right fit. She responded and said she wanted me to reconsider I said thank you but no. The following Monday I get a text from her accusing me of accessing her office over the weekend, yes I was told the door code once but was never given an alarm code. I immediately responded and said I was not in her office and had no reason to do so. She then proceeded to try to talk me into coming back to work for her! I again said no thank you. The next day I get a text that says basically I obviously have a problem with committing to something and have no integrity and that's not someone she wants working for her.

like a great one season sit-com!!

You handled the situation beautifully and politely even after the accusation that she made to you. She definitely has problems and you chose not to be a part of them. Instead, you advocated for yourself and maintained your strong standards and values. Congratulation!
