It was a very positive and energetic work environment. And we as employees were able to be ourselves!

Hey, I just wanted to post this for everyone working in F&B. I recently landed a GM POSITION with Five Guys. I've been in this business for 30 years so I know it pretty well lol. I've owned, worked for smaller private businesses, and have done corporate restaurants also. When I say corporate restaurants don't impress me that's an understatement! But Five Guys? I can't say how impressed I am with this company!!!

Everything they have done from the smallest detail is so well thought out and implemented in a way that so wonderfully supportive of each and every employee! Salary is competitive, the bonus's are amazing and there for the team to earn weekly, and the benefits and 401k are top of the line. The work environment is so much fun! It's casual and upbeat with amazing music to keep that fun mood all day. I wear jeans and a tee to work ! I have to say how wonderful everyone has been since I've been there! From the Director of Operations for the South East, to the Regional Manager, to my District Manager.... all three men are just down to earth, warm, friendly, professional, and so supportive that I can't see how anyone with the right personality and drive could possibly fail. Kudos to the attention to detail with everything from the POS to the laminates that are dummy proof!

Still owned by the Guy and his four sons, so this is no corporate monster. If you've worked in a corporate restaurant you know how frustrating it can be! No common sense. But these men have real skills in making this a no brainier and a pleasure! I just wanted to post this because this casual dining corporation is too impressive not to tell everyone! Best of luck no matter what you do finally land!!! Lorene

They have an awesome product. It's a customer satisfaction based company, and they have secret shopper bonuses.

At first, what I loved about Five Guys was the management team and how they trained us, and I loved that it was my first job and I could make money on the side
