I am returning to working after taking some time off to have a my son whom will be a year old this month. I need part time and an front desk job in an office environment is what I am interested in presuing.
It seems mighty strange that most of these same jobs are on each job/ career site and they have been posted for months. Are this companies truly seeking good help?

Yes, I am interested and capable, but I feel I must go through a zillion hoops to tell you my capabilities. I basically am an educator; have managed a doctor's office, owned my own business, am reliable and essentially retired. I am looking for a guest oriented front desk position, and I can work flexible hours. I have attended several universities including ASU. I am now employed as an on call substitute since I have life time certification. I like working with people and meeting new people which I think would be enjoyable as a front desk clerk .
