The reason I am posting this is because this has become a major phenomenon. It appears their daily internet traffic is about to overtake Twitter in terms of volume - in about a week. Crazy! Its incredibly brilliant strategy and turns out a lot of fun - mixing virtual and real worlds (and I suspect very lucrative for the company sending people to stand in front of the gap, CVS, etc.). Thought people would like to see the employment page. Its mostly software engineers, but community manager is a bit more welcoming...

I love everything about video games, and I really want to turn my passion into a career. But my parents think that you can’t make a career out of video games. I want to prove them wrong! Lol Does anyone have any advice on getting into the gaming industry?

It’s pretty cliche, but I’d love to be a video game developer. But I have NO idea how to get started. Anyone in the gaming industry have some suggestions for me?
