I have not worked since 2009 and it was my only job for ten years. How do I go about this?

I need some help. I have applied at MD Anderson for several Sr. Administrative assistants positions and I passed the test as well. I still have not heard from anybody there. I received a call from an agency today that one of the oil companies rejected my resume because of the job cap. I suffered an injury last year, so I was taking physical therapy for 4 months last year. Now, ready to back to work. Any advice.

I'm a 50 something year old women. I've been unemployed since 2012 taking care of my elderly parents. During this time I have also become obese.
Now, I'm ready to go out into the work force again, but I am not sure exactly what kind of work to seek. I can't sit for very long or stand for very long (age and obese related pains).
I am not sure anyone will hire me with my limitations.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me??

I have been out of work since December of 2017. When placing my resume online, is it best to leave the end date blank like I still work there or should I put the end date? I have been told if you've been out of work for a long time, it looks bad. It's becoming more and more frustrating because I've put so many resumes out there, but only a few interviews. I have been a Project Manager for over 20 years, but I have no degree or a PMI Certification.
It has set me into depression, because I am so used to working, and providing.

I'm looking for a job. I haven't worked in the past two years because I'm taking care of my mother in law. Now I'm ready to go back to work. I don't have a car at the moment. But I'm willing to work hard and I live in North ft Myers FL. Any advice or suggestions need help.
