I was out of work for a little over a year, due to my step-son's illness. I really dont want to have to explain the illness or the experience of dealing with the separation of above mentioned scenario...how would you deal and explain this to a future employer

I had a interview at a endocrinologist office for medical administrative position . It was the worst, the "hiring manager" asked me very personal questions one included what was my zodiac sign. Is that even relevant . She made me feel underqualified (which im not I have 5 years of experience its a decent amount) and seemed very judgemental about the fact that I don't drive a car. She asked about a gap I had on my resume and I told her because I attended a cuny college which I didnt finish and only went for one year but I didnt put it on my resume because I didnt finish that college I had to leave for personal purposes and also was very judgemental about that. Worst experience ever . I wouldnt have worked with her even if I was offered the job

Do depressed. Got called for a good job, but because I have not been in the workforce for awhile, I can't have it. I have tons of experience for the open positions. Any suggestions?

I'm in college and have been searching for a part time job for months. I have a year and a half gap from the job I had in high school and now. My mom is disabled. She's had 6 back surgeries in the past two years and I was the only one who could take care of her so my dad could work. But I can't even get an interview. Please help.

They say not to include being a stay at home mother, that its not a skill. OK. So for the last 20 years I have not worked. Now the kids (young adults) have moved out. How do I fill out a resume? I am going to online school now but tha is not enough to get hired.
