I'm a Blue Star Mom, I understand hard times. I'm willing to host 2 Vets for Thanksgiving. I live right outside Queens, NY. Military ID is required. I'm a great cook and want to give what little I have to share. I believe all Vets should be appreciated, especially on a day where we give Thanks for what we do have.
Please private message me if you are in need. We don't care about your race, religion or politics. BUT NO DISCUSSION OF THEM at the dinner table. Caveat...there wI'll be Turkey, although also plenty of veggies.
This is meant to be a day to be happy, and to have a plentiful, pleasant, gracious meal.
P.S. Willing to host a family if children are over 8...my husband is handicapped (MS) and he has trouble dealing with quick movements. (House is childproof according to him....he thinks no small children can get in.) Reality is, it is not at all childproof, and it won't be by Thursday.

Hey you. Yes you, the person reading this. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, no matter where you're at in life. I know I've felt so much better coming to this community every day to share my thoughts and feelings. I really feel a connection with a lot of you on this site. We're all family here, so I hope I'm there for you the way you all have been here for me this year.

Happy Thanksgiving, Jobcasers! I find myself VERY thankful this year. Among the many things for which I am thankful are: -Brave Pilgrims that wanted a better life, more freedom and the Native Americans who helped show them how to start and survive
- My luck in being born in America!
- Happy & healthy family (and especially for having them all together in 1 place in about 6 hours!!!!!!!)
- The opportunity of spending my professional life now working with GREAT people on a GREAT mission - bringing more power to the working men and women of this country
- And especially thankful for you. And the millions of members - like you as your read this - who trust us as stewards of a platform and of services which are really going to shake things up in everyone's worklife as we continue to grow over the next year or two! We can only achieve this mission by having great people use jobcase, & help other jobcasers -- thank you so much for giving us this opportunity and for believing in a better way to manage your worklife than the options we have had in the past.
I truly wish you have a peaceful, fun, laughter-filled wonderful day with your family and/or loved ones. We will be back at it on Friday, working hard to achieve this vision. But from this pm till Friday morning, all of us Cambridge Jobseekers are going to pause and give thanks!
Happy Thanksgiving! Fred
