Bauer has offered to modify its production efforts to making protective equipment for nurses, doctors and paramedics. It's awesome seeing different businesses step up to help out those in need.

I read this post about how life sim games are starting to gain a ton of popularity during this isolation period. Studies show that that there is psychological reason behind this! People are able to escape real life for a little while and control their own virtual world.

Pretty rad, IMO. Also, if you haven't gotten the new Animal Crossing... GET ON IT! Lol

I have been trying to find jobs that I can #workfromhome but I don't want to do anything that requires me to do cold calling. I saw this list and thought it could be helpful. I know #coronavirus has changed a lot, but don't lose hope!!! Good luck!

Anyone hear about these people who are actually FAKING having the Coronavirus? Like we don't have enough problems. Some jackass in New Jersey coughed on a female worker in a Wegmans. He then tells her he has the virus when he really didn't. WHAT is wrong with people? I would have punched him if I were her.

Krogers and Publix are installing these plastic walls to keep customers and employees away from each other. Kind of like when you go to buy a ticket to a show and they are behind that plate glass thingy.

Good for them though about time someone does something. I mean, we all need groceries for god's sake!! Do you think it will actually keep people from catching the virus.

I read about it in this link https://www.kxxv.com/news/coronavirus/kroger-publix-to-install-plexiglass-barriers-between-customers-and-cashiers-amid-coronavirus-spread

What is the #Coronavirus stimulus package??

This is about to be the most substantial economic stimulus measure in modern history. Here are five significant takeaways.

  1. The government will send $1,200 in direct payments to taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000/year. Families will receive an additional $500 per child.

  2. Unemployment benefits will grow and be available to many more Americans. Expansion of the benefits will extend job insurance by 13 weeks and include a four-month enhancement of benefits. It has been broadened to include gig workers and freelancers!!

  3. Small businesses are eligible to receive emergency loans if they pledge NOT to lay off their workers. Loans would be forgiven if the employer continued to pay workers for the duration of the crisis.

  4. Larger companies can receive a government bailout loan, but there are several strings attached.

  5. Struggling hospitals will receive aid. $100 billion will be available to hospitals and health systems across the country. It also includes billions more to provide personal and protective equipment and increases support for health care workers, testing supplies, and new construction to house affected patients.
