I just saw this story of a little 91 year old man, who can't even hardly WALK, who knits hats for the homeless!

I find people like this so inspiring. He really gets it - life is about helping others. It's easy to forget that when you don't have a job or have to deal with rude customers all day.

Imagine how much better life would be if we all had his perspective.

Let's get out there and make 2017 awesome!

I enjoy helping others. Whether they ate young or old. I've always worked in places that I had to deal with the public. Starting at an early age 12. So this will show how long I've dealt with people.

Im in my melancholy humorous self mindset. When I saw the email asking what My dream job would be I couldnt help myself, so here it is. My dream job would actually be going around the US giving away money to those whom I felt needed a true hand up. I would also create communities open to self-sustainability, by setting up vertical aquaponic gardens to feed those in need, and delegate solar installations for every home in America to get off the monopolized power grid and get paid well to do it. Lastly, I would barter my education and skills as a massage & bodywork therapist to those truly in need, providing there were no medical or pharmeceutical contraindications. But Im also a realist. That would take alot of money!

I really want to help out, especially if you have a question about finding a job or landing an interview. I just got a new job myself, so I want to spread some good in this world. :)

Life is a reciprocal process...the question is how much do we want out of life? Are you willing to have more while someone else ? People need to remain conservative and preservative with those who do not deserve but are less fortunate on their minds....dont wait till a recession or ww3...there is no such thing in life without help....everyone help each other regardless of race or disabled conditions....problem solved...agriculture and fashion go a long way...the basics...someone always needs a change of clothes and food...but It's just my opinion...what do I know I'm a poor nobody

Three months ago I was forced out of my job. Fortunately, I am able to collect EDD insurance, even though I have it on file that I resigned. Because I am having a struggle with my job search, I still want to maintain some kind of productivity. I decided that I would volunteer at my local mission for the homeless and needy, as they need people. This will give me a chance to still work in my profession showing that I am still in the game, and can put it on my resume. It will also allow me to work with new people, network and build more references. But more importantly, it will give me fulfillment in helping those who are worse off than me.

Good things come from helping others. God is good.

Hi all,

I'm Patrick from Colorado and I'm liking this site a lot! I have a lot of experience with recruiters, agencies, looking for jobs, cover letters, resumes. I come here daily and try to help in anyway I can because I'm 58 and have gained quite a bit of knowledge job seeking over the years and hope to help those who are struggling. I've been doing this for so long it's 2nd nature to me but obviously, it's burdensome for others. I'm here to guide, assist others who are job hunters. I will pass down whatever advice I can along with all the other knowledgeable job holders on this site.
