Writing a bad contract. I had a friend who's grandfather was dying so I helped her rent a van so her and her family could go say goodbye. In order for them to afford it I waived the additional drivers fee and applied a coupon to her contract. Almost a month later I was let go because they say it was fraud. Even though the company is all about customer service and going the extra mile I was let go. I stand behind my choice as it was an emergency situation and I have done it for several customers before, and never reprimanded for it nor told I was doing the wrong thing. Just shows this company will overlook or ok something until they decide to use it agaisnt you. I begged and pleaded for 3 days trying to save my career with no avail. I was a great asset, helped raise moral, customer service scores, and revenue increase. Unfortunately, standing up for what's right and having a backbone agaisnt management bullies put a target on my back that finally caught up with me.

I have an interview set for Monday with Hertz for a management position. The hours and location are perfect for me and the pay is not terrible, plus it's expected to go up. I really want his job. Anyone have some input to help me nail this interview? I.e. Been out of work since the beginning of May. I've been on a few interviews, one I even had two interviews with the company, and have not heard back from any. I believe that my last jobs reason for letting me go may be hurting my chances to get another job. They said I "wasn't the right fit" and that's why they were letting me go. They even gave me a severance package but when I tell the positional employers why I let my last job was because "I wasn't the right fit", they seem to want more of an answer. I just can't give them one because that the reason I was told and was not given anymore than that. I feel that it looks like I'm lying about the reason I was let go. I worked very hard for this job and learned a lot that wasn't even in my job discription, just to help the needs of the company. I did not revive any training other than, this is how you use this program (the basics) and the rest I learned on my own. I could really use this job at Hertz and I feel I could be really good at it. I just need a way in the interview, to let them know so they will at least give me a chance. TIA

As I am fixing to lose job with Fleetlogix as Hertz union took over transport/driver jobs for 14 workers including myself, I am already signed on to Hertz website through website they use for contacting.
