I found a job. Had a interview and got the job. Working at Walmart again.

I got the job

I got a volunteering position with my city government. I look at it this way, its getting my foot in the door and back into the workforce :D

I recently moved to a new state without a job when I arrived my first application was for a job I had 40 plus years doing & I didn't get the job because it was 25 minutes away from where I am living, & they presumed I would be calling out because of no ride. I then applied to 2 more jobs one that I had skills in & one I didn't... the one I didn't have any skills at emailed me for an interview, & somehow I sold myself well enough to get the job & funny thing it pays more than the job I had experience in... So reinvent yourself use the skills you have to sell yourself into a higher paying position, good luck to all.

On the first day on the job "everyone is eager to get their hands dirty."Or thanking God they have time to acclimate to a new situation. So we all search out who feels like a fabulous counter part to this learning experience. And what do you know you end learning more without saying anything or just by asking a few questions... Watch, listen and take it all in. Then make your move! Praising others makes people feel good about what they are doing. Everyone needs a little attention now and then. So gold stars are always handy!

My official start day is tonight. Orientation went well...i look forward to working at Amazon

Had a great phone interview with Hylan Datacom got my background check form texting me this morning fill that out waiting for those results hopefully starting work all the 28th of July it's an early birthday present good money and good benefits the head of Maintenance seems to want to turn the company around and modernize and seems like he's looking out for the Working Man praise the Lord success

So I interviewed for a job in January, was told I had the job, went for drug test, got call that day I got the job. The day before I was supposed to start I got an email saying I never had the job. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. They called me and OFFERED me the position, no drug test needed, everything I asked for money wise. I was over the moon, my dream job!!!! I worked for 4 fricking days & they tell me they r downsizing!!!!!! Then why the heck did u hire me???? Why after 6 months did u come back to me and offer me the job????? Then tell me to expect a phone call in the future to go back to work for them????? Uhm..... r they high???? 2 times they screwed me over.......

After 12 years on disability I’m getting back to work. I left as a SX auditor making $138,000 a year and even though I’ll only make $30 an hour, I’m excited to be back in my field with little certifications needed. Now I’m studying for my CIA ( certified internal auditor ) and CPA exams. On a personal note, I’m starting back at a gym so I can get my dancer body back and lose 25 pounds to get back to 116! I’m also looking at old farmhouses on land to buy. Life is good!

Been having trouble I applied for dollar general and both managers at the store 8899 both said I’m hired but has been three weeks almost and I still haven’t got my email that I need to start work? Any ideas
