Hi All, I just passed the probationary period for Cornerstones of Care as a Foster Care Transport Driver... this is the best job... EVER! I was planning on working for the IRS (same pay but medical benefits from day 1- the only drawback was the probationary period is 3 years), but 2 things happened... 1) I couldn't pass the OPM background check because I have been a social recluse for many years and could not provide them with enough personal references, and 2) my current boss would not accept my notice....... I love this job!

In my job search from outta state, I had location high on my list of priorities. I had been offered a better salary, benefits, and potential for advancement but I declined all other offers because I wanted to come back to my home state. I accepted the offer from WQRK to host their morning show and develop content that would increase sales from clients and other non-traditional revenue streams.

I lost my job of 7 years a week before Christmas. I had nothing lined up and my last paycheck was all I had for the holidays. I got my resume updated started posting and searching. I took every interview I could get and no one was calling. I finally got a callback with an ofer paying me $10,000 more a year than what I was making plus full benefits that I really needed. I stayed focus ,kept the faith and my new year is getting off to a good start. Don't give up , trust in your resume, make sure you update it and take every interview you can. It can happen for anyone if you believe in yourself.

I interviewed for a lower position and I was denied. I then interviewed for a supervisor position and they chose someone else. I got called back and I wasn't going to go. I went and I got the supervisor position.

I got my first job but finding it was HARD. I had no experience what so ever so I applied basically anywhere. How long did it take you all to find your first one?

I have been doing some research and it looks like December has been a good month for anyone looking for work from home job opportunities. Here are a few people that I found getting hired and the companies doing the hiring this month according to success stories posted on Facebook.

Company = Rev (Freelance transcriptionists, captioners or translators) https://www.rev.com/careers

[Rebecca Shealy-Stone] WooHoo!!! I got a job with Rev!!! I had to turn down KC due to hours. This works perfect for me. I even studied transcription in college.

[Marina Clooney] Hi everyone. I got a job with Rev. The pay isn't great unless you spend a lot of time on it, but it's very well set up and easy to make more money if you really work hard! Loving it so far

Company = KellyConnect (Chat agent services) https://www.kellyservices.us/us/other/kellyconnect-workathome/

[Danielle Nixon] I got hired with Kelly for Dec 2nd and by the time we were completing the paperwork they said they would put me to the next class which was dec 30 im mad theres a class starting on the 9th now. I should have been moved to that one first

[Gabby Mendoza] Got let go from my job last week and will start training with Kelly connect Dec 31st!

[Clarence Faulks] I start on Dec 3 also

Company = Conduent (Business services company) https://jobs.conduent.com/search-jobs/Work%20from%20home?orgIds=13016&kt=1

[Shyasia Hickman] Got a job offer from conduent starts December 15, anybody else got this offer??? But also starts Kelly Connect December 9! Any suggestions...

[WaGwan Dallas] I got the offer for conduent to start in 12/15

[Michelle Shaw] I will be starting the same day with Conduent as well!

[Shimmer Vanzant-Muhammad] So guess who got their 1st wfh job offer from Conduent!!! Dedication pays off!

Company = NextRep (Virtual customer services) https://nexrep.com/become-a-contact-center-agent/

[Kristen Nichole Leverett] My husband and I have a medically fragile child and it is so hard to find a job that will work for us, while still dealing with his needs. He has nurses, but sometimes, he just wants his mommy and that's why I chose to stay home with him. I have taught English online for 2 years and was getting worn out. I originally took an offer with KellyConnect and had to turn it down because of their strict policy with not missing a day of training and they were not going to allow me to change my training date so I could be with my son during his surgery. I interviewed with NextRep today and got an instant offer while I was on the phone. I nearly cried. She even worked to find a training time that fit around my child's surgery next month.

Company = Hilton (Global hotel chain) https://jobs.hilton.com/us/en/career-areas-wfh

[Chelsea Barto] I got a job offer for Hilton, I’m trying to decide if I should accept it or not.

[Angela Bunton] Congratulations. I took the job also! I've talked to several that have been with Hilton or more years,a lifetime in the wfh world lol, all started in the same position. If you had Kimberly, she told me that she actually started in the same position a year ago, advancement seems fast and assured

Company = Skyes (Call center customer support services)  https://jobs.sykes.com/en-US/page/fp-home/

[Sharon Marie] Got a job with sykes yesterday and got invited to interview with kelly connect today .. so blessed ...

Has anyone else here on Jobcase worked for any of these companies or have work from home stories to share? Add them to the comments below!
