After I retired from working as an Executive Assistant, I planned to upgrade my home. So got a job at home depot paint department and learned so much about painting, tile, blinds, carpet, plumbing and electrical. SO glad I took the opportunity to broaden my knowledge and HD was the perfect place to do it. Really enjoyed my time working for them and how well they treat their employees.

I've been inconstruction all my life and I enjoyed going to work everyday.

Just had my interview with the speciality manager at the store applied to. He said they still had a few more candidates to interview and I should be hearing back by the end of the week.
However, just got like two emails like half an hour ago saying my application for such such position is complete at the store location. and when I log into my account on the home depot career site, it still says 'application received' but the date has changed to today. But i applied several days ago....
has this happened to anyone else? Does that status ever change? #HomeDepot #hiringprocess

The Home Depot®, the world's largest home improvement retailer, is hiring 80,000 associates this spring in preparation for its busiest season of the year.

I just read about Home Depot donating $50M to help get more people trained as carpenters, electricians, etc. So I looked into the programs they're sponsoring and they look amazing. Check out the link below to find free training programs all over the country!

I worked with great guys, who were team oriented.it was a pleasure working there.even though they offered me a full time position.i showed up to work every day.worked many extra days to help out and didnt get the job.strange hiring practices but doing your job and coming to work wasnt a requirement for the home depot.

Want to know what our Employer clients think about Jobcase? One of earliest direct employer clients was Jacquese Brown of Home Depot. Lotta reasons to love Jacquese, among them that she cares about people and she has helped a lot of Jobcasers get good positions at a good company.
