Medistar is a great agency to work with, excellent service, they solve everything quickly, they treat employees very well, I never have any issues with them. They are very good with their clients, they always try to do their best. I recommend this agency 100%

I interviewed for a home health position with a assisted living facility in central Florida went thru background check, drug screen etc. And completed classroom training. I was told that am hired and they will call me to begin on the job training and has been a week. I called and was told that would get a call to begin on-job training . I successfully completed the classroom training but still have not received call for on job training after one week.Should I be concerned? Is this the new normal? Can someone please advise. Thank you

Do not. You do not get payed for your working time. Orientation time and you have to pay for all the extra with a 30$ check. They charge you for working for them

I've recently ran into some unfortunate events in my life right now that has put me in a little bit of a rut. Due to these events I'm temporarily out of a job. I'm a part time Home health aide and my client that I'm helping ended up getting themselves into trouble and they will be gone until September July at the earliest The company I'm working for is unable to find a temporary client for me to take care of. I have been trying to find a temporary job . Until my client comes back. I need to find something that I can do at. Home.that is legit . (No dead end survey job) Or something within the city of Killeen TX because I'm using public transportation for right now. I need something that is temporary. I have been trying to look around online for work vno luck ASAP I have a teenager that Im provding for by myself. And I have to keep it stable for her. I've got 3 years experience as a home health aide. Not a CNA there is a difference. I also have experience in working with people's pets from kennel assistant to dog grooming , I also have experience working in a.day care . setting I graduated Everest institute in 2007 with honors.to become.a certified medical assistant. I have a good work ethic and do my best to maintain a positive attitude when the times get tough. I hope this reaches everyone in good health and spirit.
