I didn't have this happen with any of my clients.

I loved working with Hospice pts because it was a good feeling knowing that I was doing what I had to do to make their last few days with us as comfortable as possible.

What I loved working at #Hospice and Palliative Care, case management

Today, three years since I have worked at Hospice. that specialty of nursing was my favorite. We all spend our middle part of our lives trying to find our purpose, trying to find a calling rather than a paycheck. I truly felt Hospice was my purpose. My favorite part of the job was helping the patient set goals for living and seeing them reach those goals. People tend to think of Hospice as dying and yes that is part of it, but really helping people live and make the most of their time is a bigger part.

How #Hospice changed me

It made me a better nurse and allowed me to support patients and families going through EOL by using my faith to provide the assistance and support the patient and family needed.

I have extensive nursing skills and knowledge in many facets of nursing. I truly loved my position as a Public Health Nurse Field Supervisor working on an American Indian Reseservation. This has been the most rewarding nursing career I have held in the past 17 years. I would stay and culminate my nursing career on the reservation, but my parents need me at home and it is time to return home to SC. I ask that you review my resume and consider my skills and qualifications. I will not disappoint your organization.
