I don’t have the answer for not being able to find a job. I’ve been in the same boat since February 2019. I’m Senior Level Management and my experiences in this quest are exactly like most of you. I’m living on the bare minimum with fears of eviction. I’ve already lost my home. I am a Single Mother with 2 children and I am the sole provider. It’s ugly! I’m either overqualified or I receive promising feedback, then nothing. It’s an emotional roller coaster. What I will do is offer encouragement. Don’t give up. Cry, Scream, then pick yourself up and start over again the Next day.

I've been on a few interviews this week and last week no success yet and I'm on my very last unemployment check with rent and bills due immediately. Are there any jobs out there that are definitely hiring right now? Everything is starting to pile up all over again and I don't think unemployment does extensions anymore.

So here's my frustration. I have been unemployed for two months now after being with a company I loved but because of budget cuts, my position was the first to go. Now I'm in search of employment but the problem is according to all the interviewers I'm either over qualified or not qualified enough. I've literally applied to over 200 jobs and I've had over 100 interviews. What is wrong with me? I'm really starting to feel like I'm not good enough. Money is tight with only my husband working and I'm going to lose my home if something doesn't change very soon.

A while back I was unemployed and broke and struggling after my former employer went under but I ended up becoming a manager at Dollar General. I feel like they really took a chance on me. It was up to me to learn a whole new system but I got a good rep with my store and even though managing a store can sometimes be tough I got the hang of it. After a while I’m now on track to move up to the district level. I always will remember Dollar General as where I turned around that awful rut.

I'm trying to move into a entry level position that pays enough to get me out my moms house but it seems no one is biting my resume has been altered, updated, changed etc to fit what I'm tryna do but no luck I've been out of a job for about a month and just can see my self going back to fast food but I cant just not have money that defeats the purpose of me leaving fast food.
