Any ideas. I think I am not being hired because I am 58

I am in search of a commercial real estate position in the NW or West area of Houston...I do not have a lot of contacts in Houston as my former 19 assets were spread over 12 states. I have also done multi-family in the past (has been over 10 years). Really want to stay in Houston and am open and flexible in position and salary. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
